Abstract

The antifungal susceptibility of cryptic species is poorly known. We assessed 51 isolates, belonging to seven cryptic species, by the EUCAST reference method and the concentration gradient strip (CGS) method. Species-specific patterns were observed, with high MICs for azole drugs, except for and , and high MICs for amphotericin B for and Essential and categorical agreements between EUCAST and CGS results were between 53.3 and 93.3%.
