Abstract

At a traffic accident in 1970 a then 6 year old boy got an impacted fracture of the neck of the right femur with persisting subluxation. This was not particularly noticed because of the severity of other injuries. In the meantime the most recent follow-up examination (1981) of the boy (now 17 years old) showed a dysplasia like growth disorder. Various possibilities of interpretation are discussed.
