Supratentorial neoplasms in the cerebral hemispheres, basal ganglia, thalamus, and other structures above the tentorium cerebelli present significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. This comprehensive review explores the role of MRI in diagnosing, planning treatment, monitoring response, and detecting recurrence in supratentorial neoplasms, providing comparative insights into adult and pediatric cases.
