Abstract

We present a genome assembly from an individual specimen of (great wood-rush; Tracheophyta; Magnoliopsida; Poales; Juncaceae). The genome sequence is 444.5 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial and plastid genome assemblies have lengths of 633.36 kilobases and 201.32 kilobases in length, respectively.
