Abstract
Background: Alcohol is a pervasive substance in the US and the world in general. Cardiac arrythmias, specifically atrial fibrillation, are also a critical health issue. The interplay between alcohol and arrythmia is explored here.
Methods: Original research, editorials and other literature reviews were searched and assessed for candidacy for inclusion and ability to contribute to this article.
Conclusions: Alcohol consumption has a significant interplay with cardiac arrhythmia.
