Abstract
sp. strain TKC was isolated from a microbial community enriched with γ-hexachlorocyclohexane (γ-HCH). This strain did not show γ-HCH-degrading activity but was one of the major members of the community. Here, we present the draft genome sequence of the strain TKC with a size of 7 Mb.
