Abstract

Intact acrosomal vesicles and their surrounding membranes were isolated from starfish sperm. The identification of the acrosomal vesicle and confirmation of its purification away from other sperm organelles was made by electron microscopy and SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
