Phylogenetic analyses of combined , rpb2, tub2 and sequence data of representative taxa indicated that , and cluster together and form a distinct clade in . Morphological comparison also shows their distinctiveness from other families of . Therefore, we introduce it as a novel family, . Based on morphological characteristics, and , which were previously classified in genera , are now included in the . In addition, three species, sp. nov, sp. nov, and are described and illustrated in this paper.
