Abstract
An integrated cognitive-behavioral and focused psychodynamic treatment paradigm is described for the treatment of paraphiliac disorders. The important bridge which links these two modalities is the use of sexual fantasies as a point of therapeutic intervention. A brief review of the literature and one case is presented illustrating the promising nature of this methodology.
