Abstract

Shockwave intravascular lithotripsy for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease is routinely performed via femoral artery access. In patients with complex femoropopliteal disease, this traditional approach is not feasible. To address this situation, we used an exclusive pedal access approach along with other adjunctive treatments, resulting in a successful outcome. ().
