Abstract

A portion of norethindrone (17 alpha-ethynyl-19-nortestosterone) was confirmed to be aromatized to ethynyl estradiol (17 alpha-ethynyl estradiol) in primary human hepatocytes cultured using the Vitafiber-II cell culture system.
