Abstract

became a buzz phrase in the mid-1990s in the business world. In this commentary, the application of this term to pharmacy within the context of the current status of pharmacy education and practice, highlighting barriers, discussing requirements, and identifying implications for future innovative opportunities in pharmacy is discussed.
