Abstract

• Communication with patients in radiology is, in general, indirect using the referrer as a conduit. • Direct patient communication may be beneficial for radiology departments and radiologists to improve patient awareness about the nature of our role and also to provide correct and measured information about the nature and frequency of discrepancies in radiology.
