Abstract

Here, we present the draft genome sequences of nine multidrug-resistant strains isolated from humans ( = 6) and chicken carcasses ( = 3) from Lagos, Nigeria, in 2013. Multiple extended-spectrum β-lactamase (ESBL) genes were identified in these isolates.
