Abstract

This review assesses the progress that has been made over the last quarter century in our understanding of the pathogenesis of diabetic foot problems as well as in their management. Some recent exciting developments are highlighted. This is followed by a brief discussion on the epidemiology and causal pathways to diabetic foot disease.
